With over 3,700+ five-star reviews, our program is proven to deliver results. As we continue to expand into new industries and markets, we are looking for a driven Account Executive to help bring new companies onto the Destination Motivation platform.
Position Overview
The Account Executive plays a key role in growing Destination Motivation by introducing our program to new clients, helping them understand the value of our vacation voucher system, and guiding them through the onboarding process.
This is a high-energy sales role for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunity, and helping clients improve their business performance.
The right candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, take ownership of their pipeline, and enjoy being part of a fast-growing company that is transforming the way businesses close sales.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
• Identify and connect with prospective clients across home improvement, retail, and service industries
• Introduce companies to the Destination Motivation program and its impact on close rates, cancel reduction and customer experience
• Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline
• Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and strategy discussions with prospective clients
• Close new accounts and guide them through the onboarding process
Events
• Attend events on behalf of DM. In our main industries we have 6-7 large trade shows throughout the year.
• The AE runs our booth, hosts dinner and events, essentially putting themselves in a position to meet as many potential clients as possible.
• These events are a great way to build your sales pipeline and require someone who is not afraid to walk up to anyone and strike up a conversation.
Client Relationship Building
• Develop strong relationships with business owners, sales managers, and leadership teams
• Help clients understand how to best implement the vacation voucher program within their sales process
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to account management
Sales Strategy & Growth
• Help expand Destination Motivation into new verticals and industries
• Identify growth opportunities within the market
• Share feedback and insights from the field to improve sales messaging and strategy
Internal Collaboration
• Work closely with Account Management to ensure successful client handoffs
• Participate in team meetings, strategy discussions, and ongoing training
• Contribute ideas and insights to help improve the company’s sales process

• Proven sales experience, ideally in home improvement, products, or service-based industries
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage your own pipeline and priorities
• Comfortable presenting to business owners and leadership teams
• A positive, high-energy attitude with a passion for helping clients succeed
• Someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building something meaningful
