About two years ago, we had the shower in our home replaced by Tundraland, and with our purchase came a Condo Resort Vacation Voucher. We had every intention of booking a trip soon after, but life had other plans. Around that time, my wife was diagnosed with cancer. Between doctor’s appointments and treatments, travel was the last thing on our minds, so the vacation was put on hold. Now, after a year and a half of fighting and with her cancer thankfully in remission, we were finally ready to take that long-awaited trip. We booked a stay in the Wisconsin Dells and just returned from what turned out to be a truly special experience. We stayed at the Odyssey Dells Resort, which was centrally located and featured its own waterpark — perfect for our family getaway. My wife Naomi and I met up with our son, his wife, and their three children. The kids absolutely loved the waterpark, and Naomi and I enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing environment around the resort. One evening, we attended a Wild West dinner show that told the history of the Dells — it was both fun and educational, and they even managed to keep our two-year-old grandson entertained for over two hours! We also gave our son and daughter-in-law a night off by watching the kids so they could enjoy a quiet dinner together — something they rarely get to do.
