Meet Eric Nelson, Success Manager

Jul 05, 2022

What’s a client success manager do?

I help contractors to see the value in using Destination Motivation and then help them to utilize our system to drive meaningful results for their brand.

Describe the best vacation you’ve ever taken.

My wife and I went to Italy for our honeymoon. We were both sick the whole time but we had an amazing experience. We loved the breathtaking views of the Almafi Coast and the incredible history of the Umbria region. The food is amazing and the people are welcoming and warm. The highlight was of course sharing this unforgettable experience with my beautiful wife.

Where did you grow up, and what’s your favorite thing about your hometown? I grew up in a coastal town in Southern California. It’s my favorite place in the world. It has great food, it’s beautiful and the temperature is perfect. San Clemente has an incredible vibe and the people that I love live here.

What’s the most interesting job you had and what made it so? I was a lobster fisherman for a season. Everyday was an adventure!

How does it feel to be part of Destination Motivation?

It feels great working with a group of like minded people. Everyone here inspires me to give 110% to our clients, to make every opportunity count and create real value. I feel like it’s our job to go above and beyond for our customers. It’s the right thing to do because they trust us with their brand.

What’s the best thing you’ve done to help a customer or client at Destination Motivation?

I helped one of my clients to increase their closing ratio by 15% and increase their profitability by 10-15%. One of my clients started using the program earlier this year. He had a very successful rep who was making a lot of sales but also struggled with a high cancellation rate. When they started the program, he had a 30% cancellation rate but within the first month of using the program, it went down to 9%.

GIVING BACK

Our culture here at Destination Motivation believes in giving back to those in need. Each quarter we choose a new project and dedicate time and resources into helping that cause.

This year we are dedicating resources to an extremely worthy cause called The Ocean Cleanup. The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing and scaling technologies to rid the oceans of plastic.
