Need to close deals no matter what’s happening in the world around you?
Feb 26, 2022Clemens Home Solutions used Destination Motivation’s Vacation Vouchers to stay on track throughout all types of social and economic fluctuations in the marketplace.
About the company:
Since 1988, this family-owned business has been providing replacement windows, roofing, siding and more to homeowners across east central Indiana. They treat their customers like family, which is why 70% of their business comes from repeat customers and referrals, with hundreds of 5-star reviews.
Challenge:
When COVID-19 hit, Clemens Home Solutions needed to act fast to ensure a consistent flow of leads kept coming their way. While the world hit pause, the Clemens team focused on education and new ideas, and came across Destination Motivation from another partner they were working with. They quickly saw it as a great way to keep business moving, as they correctly anticipated the lasting impact of the virus across the economy, supply chain and in-home environment.
Solution:
Clemens Home Solutions needed to quickly differentiate themselves, keep sales coming in and reduce cancellations from worried homeowners. The Destination Motivation team lept into action, building training programs over Zoom and providing all the necessary leave-behind materials for the Clemens team to connect with their current and potential customers. Several training sessions were held to ensure through repetition that each member of the Clemens sales and customer service staff was able to answer any homeowner questions and provide information in a timely manner. Destination Motivation even worked to modify their Vacation Vouchers, extending expiration dates to make it even easier for a customer to trust the long-term value.
Result:
After implementing the program, Clemens immediately saw a decrease in cancellations while maintaining their premium pricing. They continued to use the program to help keep cancellations low while the economy went through various cycles, open doors with homeowners through various stages of the virus and helping keep customers content as supply chain impacts rippled through the industry. Clemens still uses the vouchers to this day as a closing tool for qualified jobs, rather than using discounts to close the deal, helping grow their revenue and customer base.
