Sales & Training Manager

Core Focus:

• Building relationships, creating opportunities, growing partnerships, and turning conversations into revenue.

Role at Destination Motivation:

• Introduce businesses to Destination Motivation and show them how our vacation voucher program can help increase close rates, reduce cancellations, and create a better customer experience.
• Build and manage the sales pipeline from first conversation through demo, strategy, close, and onboarding.
• Develop relationships with business owners, sales leaders, and industry partners, basically lots of talking to people and figuring out how we can help each other win.
• Grow our partner network through meetings, events, podcasts, cross promotions, referral opportunities, and creative ways to generate more demos and revenue.
• Represent Destination Motivation at trade shows and industry events, run the booth, host dinners, network, and talk to pretty much anyone who will listen.
• Work with clients to make sure they understand how to successfully incorporate Destination Motivation into their sales process.
• Partner closely with Account Management for smooth client handoffs and a great experience after the sale.
• Help identify new industries, partnerships, and market opportunities as we continue to grow.
• Bring feedback from the field back to the team to help strengthen our messaging, sales strategy, and overall client experience.
  

Background & Personal

• Before joining Destination Motivation, Ciera spent more than six years in HCM and B2B sales, working with business owners and leadership teams to solve challenges around payroll, HR, technology, and employee experience.
• Her career has always centered around relationship based selling, partnerships, and helping businesses find solutions that actually make an impact.
• Ciera splits her time between Las Vegas and San Diego, but was born and raised in Kansas City. She's a lifelong Chiefs fan and went to KU (Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk!).
• Outside of work, she loves traveling, anything outside, animals, great food, and is a complete movie buff.
